Kettle Fest

It was great to be a part of this enjoyable seasonal event to usher in another Appalachian Autumm in South Central PA. Lots of terrific venders filled out the spaces indoor and out, and the kettles filled the cool sunshine air with scents of soups and fresh-made potato chips. Hope if you couldn’t make it out this year, you find us next Fall!

Heritage Days

Thanks to all who came out to the Path Valley region of Pennsylvania to enjoy this 50th annual community event filled with venders, food, and fun for the entire family. It was lovely sharing a table with fellow children’s author, Hannah Tamanini, whose book can be found here as well as in person at Juniata River Commons in Mifflintown, PA, who also carry copies of my books!

Nov. 2, 2024 – Lititz Public Library
Book Signing, Meet and Greet

Thanks to the Lititz Public Library once again for hosting their (third) annual local author’s event. It was fun to see some familiar faces from last year, as well as meet many new fellow authors and readers! One highlight this year was Lancaster Newspapers coming out to do a feature article on me and my sisters [writer K.M. King (The Bomber Jacket) and playwright, D.W. Gregory (Radium Girls)], both of whom were also attending the event. The article can be found here.
September 21, 2024 – Martin Library , York PA

What a wonderful author meet-‘n-greet event hosted by the excellent staff at the beautiful Martin Library in downtown York, PA. There were a wide range of works available from local authors (many of which I couldn’t help but buy!) and a lovely crowd of enthusiastic attendees. Live readings of their works by some of the authors were featured throughout the day. The gorgeous setting of the historic Martin Library building as well as delicious refreshments courtesy of the staff made the visit to York even more special. A highly recommended bi-annual event! Thanks for having invited me!

Thanks to all who came to Kidzfest hosted by Old Town Winchester! The kids were terrific, and everyone did a bang-up job identifying the six simple machines I displayed. Shay would be so proud of you! Also, thanks to D.W. Gregory, my author’s assistant. Winners of the STEM activity books giveaway were Sally Schroeder of Lebanon, PA & Marla Schroeder of Lynchburg, VA.

April 27, 2024 – Winchester Book Gallery – Book Signing

Thanks to all who came by for my book launch for Shay the Brave, and thank you, Winchester Book Gallery, for hosting me! It was a dual launch; I was there with fellow author, Magdalene Dietschka who was signing copies of her debut paranormal romance, The Physician.
It was not only National Independent Bookstore Day, it was the Apple Blossom Festival in Old Town Winchester: music, market stands, and the magic of a Virginia Spring weekend!

Great event, well attended! Thanks to all who came, and thanks so much to Diane Guscott for organizing!
